I am all about dat nice cream! Nice cream is the vegans version of ice cream but it's a million times better than ice cream because it's healthy, not filled with nasty sugars, preservatives and dairy which actually dehydrates your joints. It's so simple, I eat it for lunch or add in enjoy life chocolate chips to make it more like chocolate chip ice cream! Let's do this....
Serves 1. What you will need:
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/2 cup of nut milk
- 1 tablespoon of raw wildflower honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of nut butter
- 1 tablespoon of maca powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of cacao (if you like chocolate flavored ice cream)
Add all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until it's smooth and voila! You got yourself some amazing tasting and healthy nice cream! Now, I ate my for lunch so I added plenty of extra toppings because I had just worked out and was crazy hungry! Dress your nice cream up however you would like. I added chopped dates, toasted coconut flakes, cinnamon roasted pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds and an extra dollop of almond of almond butter. Try and keep the toppings relatively healthy if you're eating this for lunch! For dessert I usually add the coconut flakes and enjoy life chocolate chips!
You really can't mess this up, so have fun with it, add your favorite nuts, seeds raisins or whatever you'd like! Enjoy and cheers to a happy and healthy new year!
